LaCordne Greene, a 26-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, was tragically killed on August 20, 2014. Greene was found dead at the Arbor Park Apartments on Shaw Road in Jackson, having been shot multiple times. The investigation into his death quickly identified Michael Sorrell, then 23 years old, as a suspect. Sorrell was accused of attempting to rob Greene, during which Greene was shot in the neck.
