Austin K. Moore, a 23-year-old Black man, was fatally shot on the evening of October 10, 2019, in Jackson, Mississippi. A graduate of Provine High School and Hinds Community College, he was working as a mental health technician at the time of his death. Friends and family described him as a caring and loving individual.
