Richard Tanner, a 24-year-old resident of Jackson, Mississippi, tragically lost his life on April 17, 2021. Tanner, affectionately known as "Frog," was one of two individuals shot and killed near Patrick's Place nightclub on Bailey Avenue. The incident occurred during a violent weekend in Jackson, which saw multiple homicides within a short span of time. Tanner and Cleophus Walker III, aged 20, were ambushed and fatally shot outside the nightclub, never making it inside the venue.
