On the early morning of October 18, 2020, a violent incident occurred in Jackson, Mississippi, claiming the life of 34-year-old Alveriso Davis. A Black male described by loved ones as a caring father and husband, Davis was sitting in the passenger seat of a vehicle on Woodside Drive in southwest Jackson when the shooting took place.
