In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Jackson, Mississippi, a grim discovery was made that would unravel a story of violence and loss. On March 1, 2026, police were called to the 5300 block of Dogwood Trail near Oakridge Road, where they found the bodies of two men who had been shot to death. One of the victims was Antonio Arnold, a 31-year-old Black male, who was found lying in a ditch.
The other victim was identified as 63-year-old Glen McWilliams, who was found nearby in the street.
The Jackson Police Department's Robbery/Homicide Unit, along with the Mobile Crime Unit and the Hinds County Coroner's Office, responded to the scene to begin their investigation into the double homicide. As authorities worked to piece together the events that led to the deaths of Arnold and McWilliams, they appealed to the public for any information that could lead to an arrest.
The investigation quickly led to a suspect. Michael Knight, 39, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder in connection with the shooting deaths of Antonio Arnold and Glen McWilliams.
