In the early hours of a Saturday morning in Jackson, Mississippi, a scene of violence erupted at The Daiquiri Bar on West Capitol Street, forever altering the lives of many. On August 17, 2024, amidst what should have been a typical weekend night, gunfire shattered the peace, leaving one young man dead and five others wounded.
