In the early hours of Monday, March 9, 2026, the life of 27-year-old Anthony Watts, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. The fatal incident unfolded around 12:09 a.m. in the 600 block of Northpointe Parkway, where police responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers discovered Watts's body lying on the sidewalk between two apartment buildings. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
