In the fading daylight of April 4, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the evening calm on West Capitol Street in Jackson, Mississippi, leaving two men lifeless outside a local Food Mart. One of the victims was later identified as 45-year-old Glen Stevens. The other man was identified as Johnny Booker Jr. Initial accounts from witnesses at the chaotic scene suggested that the two men may have been unintended victims, caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting between two vehicles.
