A bright afternoon in Jackson, Mississippi took a violent turn on June 28, 2022, ending the life of 20-year-old Jonathan Milsap. While walking down Lakewood Drive just before 4 p.m., Milsap was fatally wounded in a brazen drive-by shooting. Witnesses reported hearing a dozen shots fired from a red Audi, which quickly fled the scene. When police arrived, they found Milsap lying in the street, having been struck by multiple gunshots.
