In the early morning hours of Thursday, June 25, 2026, the life of 21-year-old Kendarien Lyons was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. Lyons, a young man with his future ahead of him, was fatally shot during a confrontation with a local business owner. The incident unfolded in the 300 block of Broadmoor Drive, where police responded to reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Lyons suffering from gunshot wounds.
