In the spring of 2020, a young man's life was cut short in Jackson, Mississippi, over what began as a trivial dispute. Quindarius Gibson, a 21-year-old male, was fatally shot on April 25, 2020, in the parking lot of the Pine Ridge Garden Apartments, a complex also known as Rebelwood located on Rebelwood Drive. The events that culminated in his death reportedly began with a disagreement over a small amount of money won in a dice game earlier in the week.
