On a summer day in Jackson, Mississippi, tragedy struck the community. Larry D. Brown, a 61-year-old male, was fatally shot on July 5, 2021. The incident was one of two shootings that occurred in the city that Monday morning, resulting in law enforcement confirming one homicide.
