In the winter of 2021, the life of a charismatic and ambitious young man, Kevin Alexander Taylor Jr., was tragically cut short in Jackson, Mississippi. On December 13, the 22-year-old was the victim of gun violence, found shot and killed inside a car on Elton Park Drive. Known affectionately as 'Dank,' a nickname given to him by his loving grandmother, Kevin was a beacon of light in his community, remembered for a quirky smile that could illuminate any room.
