On February 10, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Grand Rapids, Michigan, resulting in the death of 42-year-old Vasant Patel. The shooting took place on SW Butterworth Street near Lane Avenue during the night. According to the Grand Rapids Police Department, Patel was shot multiple times and subsequently transported to the hospital, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
