A verbal disagreement on Detroit's west side escalated into a fatal shooting, claiming the life of 29-year-old Richard Shorts on June 4, 2024. The male victim, a resident of Detroit, was engaged in an argument with another man when the confrontation turned deadly.
The incident occurred in the evening on Warwick Street, where Shorts and 23-year-old Dwaine Thomas Hunt III were involved in a dispute.
