Maurice Oliver Chase Jr., a 38-year-old resident of Takoma Park, Maryland, tragically lost his life on February 20, 2023, in a fatal shooting incident. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 12:40 a.m., in the 6700 block of New Hampshire Avenue in the Takoma Park area. Chase was found shot inside an apartment building and was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries hours later.
