Ronih Murat Pacal, a 40-year-old father of two, was tragically shot and killed in Takoma Park, Maryland, on December 5, 2023. His death occurred just days before he was scheduled to return to Turkey after spending two months in the United States. Pacal was outside his apartment at Takoma Towers around 3 a.m. when he and his roommate were confronted by two masked individuals armed with a gun.
