Luis Antonio Ruiz-Perez, aged 39, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2021, in Takoma Park, Maryland. The incident occurred in the 6300 block of New Hampshire Avenue, where police responded to a report of an unconscious man. Upon arrival, they found Ruiz-Perez with multiple gunshot wounds on an external staircase. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
