Dominique Williams, a 32-year-old resident of Takoma Park, Maryland, tragically lost his life on April 7, 2021. He was fatally shot by David Hall Dixon, an off-duty Pentagon police officer, outside a residential complex in Takoma Park. Dixon claimed he believed Williams and others were attempting to steal a vehicle, prompting him to open fire. However, video evidence later revealed that the car was driving away when Dixon fired, striking Williams in the back.
