Nurhusen Muhammed Hamid, a 27-year-old mobile mechanic from Silver Spring, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed on July 16, 2022, in the parking lot of an Advance Auto Parts store in Takoma Park, Maryland. According to police reports, officers responded to a call about a shooting at around 11:07 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Hamid suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries later that day.
