Betty Jane Knight, aged 83, passed away on January 24, 2015, in Fishersville, Virginia. According to available sources, her death was the result of a tragic incident at the Shenandoah Nursing & Rehab Center. The Augusta County Sheriff's Office reported that Betty Jane Knight was a victim of an apparent murder-suicide. Authorities believe that her husband, Weldon Knight, aged 84, shot her with a single gunshot before taking his own life.
