James Hawthorn, a 79-year-old man, was last seen on July 11, 2014, in Jupiter, Florida. He was reported missing after leaving his home in the 900 block of Thayer Lane. At the time of his disappearance, Hawthorn was driving a white 1994 Ford Escort, which was later found on August 9, submerged in a canal on a farm near Belle Glade.
