Lorenzo Marquette Freeman, a 17-year-old from Suitland, Maryland, was fatally shot on February 23, 2023, in District Heights. The incident occurred around 6:55 p.m. when police responded to reports of a shooting at an apartment building located on the 6700 block of Alpine Street.
