On a Tuesday morning in District Heights, Maryland, the quiet of an apartment on Rochell Avenue was broken by the discovery of a grim scene. Inside, police found two men who had been shot to death. One of the victims was identified as Marquise Porter, a 40-year-old male from the local area. The other man was 43-year-old Willie Cheeks.
