In the early hours of a Monday morning, the quiet of a District Heights, Maryland neighborhood was shattered by the sound of gunfire. On June 13, 2022, a 20-year-old male named Daniel James Harris was discovered outside on Forest Park Drive, suffering from a gunshot wound. The incident, which occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m., also left two other adult males injured. Harris was rushed to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
