On a summer evening in District Heights, Maryland, tragedy struck, leaving a community in mourning and a family forever changed. Sixty-year-old Allen Rowlett, a beloved male resident of Forestville, was fatally shot on June 24, 2016, in a violent encounter that also claimed the lives of two other individuals, 55-year-old Jan Marie Parks and 50-year-old Carlina Renee Gray. The shooting, which occurred inside a home, also left two other people wounded but alive.
