On June 10, 2024, at approximately 3:15 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in District Heights, Maryland, resulting in the death of 19-year-old Anthony Ward III from Upper Marlboro. The shooting took place in the 5400 block of Marlboro Pike, where police officers responded to reports of gunfire.
