In the summer of 2018, the life of 20-year-old Kazon Thomas, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short on a Tuesday night in Prince George's County, Maryland. On July 31st, at approximately 10:40 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Putnam Lane and Ritchie Road in the Forestville area.
