In the early morning hours of July 6, 2017, the life of 31-year-old Kenneth Edmonds of District Heights, Maryland, was tragically cut short. In the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 6600 block of Atwood Street, a verbal altercation between two groups of people took a fatal turn. As the dispute escalated, gunshots rang out, leaving two men lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.
