Kenneth Edmonds, a 31-year-old resident of District Heights, Maryland, was tragically killed on July 6, 2017. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the 6600 block of Atwood Street, where police responded to reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers found Edmonds and another victim, 34-year-old Phillip Michael from Southeast D.C., suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
