In District Heights, Maryland, a dispute between two men who knew each other ended in a fatal shooting. On Saturday, May 13, 2023, at approximately 11:50 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 6100 block of Blacksmith Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered 28-year-old Dante Williams outside a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later.
