On November 4, 2023, a tragic incident occurred at the America's Best Wings restaurant in the White Oak Shopping Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. Marvin Jefferson, a 34-year-old resident of Silver Spring, was fatally shot during an altercation at the establishment. Another unidentified victim was also wounded in the shooting.
