In a tragic and heart-wrenching incident in Lanham, Maryland, 16-year-old Dorian Jaeger lost his life. On the afternoon of November 25, 2023, at approximately 2:05 pm, authorities were called to a wooded area in the 10400 block of Greenbelt Road. It was there that they discovered the body of the male teenager, along with a second deceased individual.

The second individual was identified as 50-year-old Natalie Jaeger, Dorian's mother. Evidence at the scene indicated that Natalie Jaeger had fatally shot her son before taking her own life. The mother and son had only recently relocated to the Lanham area from their last known address in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
