On August 18, 2024, at approximately 10:10 p.m., Prince George's County police officers responded to a welfare check in the 7700 block of Finns Lane in Lanham, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 38-year-old Kamil Ahmed of New Carrollton in a parking lot with trauma. Tragically, Ahmed was pronounced dead at the scene.
