On November 28, 2024, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Prince George's County police officers responded to a welfare check in the 7700 block of Annapolis Road in Lanham, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 27-year-old Armando Cousins-Stoute, who had no fixed address, suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
