In the spring of 2021, a domestic dispute in Lanham, Maryland, escalated to a fatal conclusion, leaving one brother dead and the other facing murder charges. On the morning of May 7, 2021, police were called to an apartment in the 9900 block of Greenbelt Road for a report of a shooting. Inside, they discovered 39-year-old Bryan Pailin suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
