On August 6, 2010, four-year-old Shakur Sylvester Sikyala was tragically killed in Lanham, Maryland, along with his three-year-old sister Shayla Shante Sikyala, their mother Dawn Yvette Brooks, and their aunt Mwasiti Sikyala. The family was found dead in a garage apartment, and the case was quickly identified as a quadruple homicide.
