On an autumn evening in Lanham, Maryland, the life of 28-year-old Anthony Freeland was tragically cut short. On Wednesday, October 3, 2018, police responded to a report of a shooting in the 6500 block of Manton Way at approximately 9:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Freeland on a sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
