Anthony Freeland, a 28-year-old man from Southeast Washington, D.C., was tragically shot and killed on the night of October 3, 2018, in Lanham, Maryland. The incident occurred around 9:35 p.m. in the 6500 block of Manton Way, near Lanham Severn Road. When officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Freeland lying on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
