On the evening of May 15, 2023, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Dallas police responded to a shooting incident in the 7900 block of Great Trinity Forest Way. Upon arrival, officers discovered 17-year-old Camyron Gaines lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was promptly transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
