David Len McGary, a 21-year-old male, tragically died on October 30, 2015, in Dallas, TX. He was fatally shot while attempting to purchase marijuana from a dealer in the parking lot of a Texaco gas station located at 3333 South Haskell Avenue. Witnesses reported that McGary got into an altercation with the drug dealer, identified as Edward Alberto Cancino, who then pulled out a gun. McGary attempted to flee the scene but collapsed on Beall Street, succumbing to his injuries.
