On April 2, 2024, at approximately 4:00 pm, Dallas police responded to a shooting incident in the 2400 block of Kathleen Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found 44-year-old Carlos King suffering from gunshot wounds. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported him to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The investigation revealed that Carlos King and the suspect, 27-year-old Alvaro Vasquez, were acquainted. Vasquez was identified as the shooter and subsequently arrested. He has been charged ...
