On February 2, 2005, William Orji was shot and killed at approximately 11:20 am in front of 171 U Street, NE, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred in broad daylight, prompting an immediate response from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). The case is currently under investigation by the MPD's Violent Crimes Branch, which continues to seek information from the public in order to help solve this homicide.
