In the late morning of a cold winter day, William Orji's life was abruptly ended. On Tuesday, February 2, 2005, at approximately 11:20 am, he was shot to death in front of 171 U Street, NE in Washington, D.C. The brazen act of violence left a community stunned and a family grieving, setting in motion a homicide investigation that, to this day, remains without a conclusion.
