On November 28, 2023, 20-year-old Orlando Alexander Satz Jr. of Capitol Heights, Maryland, was found dead in Silver Spring. At approximately 9:40 p.m., police responded to a single-car collision in the 3600 block of Spruell Drive, where Satz's Toyota Corolla had crashed into a parked vehicle. Neighbors who heard the crash removed Satz from the car and provided aid until paramedics arrived.
