On January 1, 2024, at approximately 4:30 a.m., Prince George's County Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2900 block of Brinkley Road in Temple Hills, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Breon Fowler of Washington, D.C., outside, suffering from gunshot wounds. Fowler was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
