Abdul Rauf Khan, a 71-year-old Lyft driver from Springfield, Virginia, was tragically shot and killed on February 26, 2022, in Temple Hills, Maryland. Khan was found on the side of the road in the 3700 block of Dunlap Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds following a carjacking incident. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, he succumbed to his injuries several hours later.
