Monica Appleton Missing Person Case

Monica Lynn Appleton, a 29-year-old woman, was last seen on October 13, 1999, in Amarillo, Texas. That evening, Monica's mother saw her in northwest Amarillo, near the 100 block of Northeast 9th Avenue. Monica appeared frightened and refused to leave with her mother, cryptically stating that she would explain later, but she never did. Monica disappeared soon after and has not been seen or heard from since. Her mother reported her missing from their home in Pampa the following month.
