In the quiet early morning hours of June 2, 2018, a violent confrontation shattered the peace in a Camp Springs, Maryland neighborhood, leaving one man dead and another critically injured. The deceased was identified as 35-year-old Damon Palmer of Washington, D.C. The tragic incident unfolded around 12:50 a.m. in the 6200 block of Maxwell Drive, where police responded to a report of a shooting.
