In the early morning hours of February 2, 2006, the life of 18-year-old Christopher Maurice Harding of Temple Hills, Maryland, was tragically cut short. The male teenager was found shot in a front yard on the 5900 block of Rayburn Drive, near Middle Valley Elementary School, at approximately 8:00 a.m. An investigation revealed that Harding had been shot with a shotgun as he tried to escape from a parked vehicle.
