He was a Black male.
The Prince George's County Police Department quickly launched a homicide investigation into the violent death. The circumstances surrounding the incident were described as domestic in nature, leading investigators to focus on individuals known to the victim. Their efforts soon led to the identification of a suspect who was believed to have been involved in the fatal altercation that escalated to the stabbing.
Following the identification of the suspect, the case was handed over to the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office for prosecution.
