In the early evening of September 26, 2021, a dispute in a parking lot in Temple Hills, Maryland, escalated to a fatal conclusion, leaving a young man's life cut short. Davon Graves, a 23-year-old male from the nearby community of Suitland, was found unresponsive by patrol officers who had been called to the 4500 block of St. Barnabas Road around 7:00 p.m. for reports of a shooting. Graves was suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
