Darryl Hazel, a 47-year-old resident of Suitland, Maryland, tragically lost his life to gun violence on April 7, 2024. The incident occurred in the early morning hours around 3:15 a.m. in the 6300 block of Suitland Road, Camp Springs, Maryland. Responding to reports of a shooting, officers from the Prince George’s County Police Department discovered Hazel suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
